Episode 3 of chilipod: webpr+ conference

March 6th, 2007

Victoire and I attended the webpr+ conference last Friday at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways. We were there to cover the event and to publish the four sessions in a special edition chilipod a little later this month. This third episode of chilipod includes interviews with Sally Falkow and Rob Stokes who both spoke at the conference. We also got to chat to two people who attended the conference and find out what they found valuable in the sessions. If you would like to read about the event, the Quirk bloggers have a couple great posts from the day (there was a row of them hammering away at their keyboards) and we are going to publish a highlights post in the coming days.

Given the results of our recent poll on which format/s you prefer, we are going to continue to offer you mp3 and m4a (iTunes version) versions of this podcast. As before, you can download them directly from the links on this post or simply subscribe to chilipod in your feedreader/iTunes.

I apologise for the sound quality. The sound levels were all over the place and I used a great tool called the Levelator which has been published by GigaVox Media and which evens out the sound levels. It seems to have boosted the volume quite a bit so you may want to turn down the volume a tad before you press play.

The music we have used in this episode (and which we may use in future episodes) is a track called YFM Late Remix by a crowd known as Deep Fried. The track has been published on the ccMixter:sa site under a Creative Commons Attribution license.
